I finally had the opportunity this last Saturday to use Brady's technique to cut an aluminum panel.
Here's the tapes I used:

The tall roll is the contact tape - it's almost like a wide masking tape.
The smaller roll is the double-sided tape. This stuff is _incredibly_ aggressive! If it was alive it would take a bite out of your hand just because. :)
As per Brady's directions, I applied the contact tape first:

The double-sided tape was applied on top of the contact tape and then it was j-rolled on to the coroplast...

When using a single zone on my new table, I was pulling nearly 10 inHg!

Here's a couple of shots of the actual cutting:

I used an Onsrud 2 flute up-shear 1/8" cutter for this - I don't recall the number off the top of my head, but it's made for cutting aluminum. The cutter RPM was 18k and the feed rate was .5in/sec. The only thing I didn't care for was the edge quality. It has tiny ridges in it. I've got a PRT Alpha 96, so I may just be exceeding the ability of the machine. A little sanding & deburring took care of it.
The panel came off very easily.
